Legal Aid

Legal Aid may be available to you to fund your legal proceedings if you meet the financial eligibility threshold. Generally if you are in rescript of means tested state benefits or you are on a low income legal aid will be available to you. In certain types of cases, the grant of legal aid will also be subject to a ‘merits test’ whereby the Legal Services Agency will have to be satisfied that your case has a good prospect of success.
